How you got your Handle:
My handle came from not being able to shoot straight in first person shooters like CS, DOD and most recently COD4. I also can sometimes have a “bent” point of view on certain issues. I carried it over into Airsoft and it has stuck since.
History and Experience:
Lenny “Flash” talked me into checking out Jungle Toys back in 2003. Prior to that I had played paint ball and liked the sport. The only problem I had with markers is just that they were markers. When I saw my first Airsoft replica, I thought, this is what I have been waiting for. Airsoft is a far more realistic and a fun way to blow off steam. My first purchase was an ICS MP5, which I quickly upgraded with everything I could find, even if I had to get the parts from Hong Kong. The MP5 morphed into what now is affectionately known as “FRANKEN GUN”. I now wield a CA M249; this was the replica I have wanted since I started playing. It only took me four years to wear the wife down enough to allow me to purchase it.
I was a starting member of Team LEO. This team folded into UOF after several members lost interest due to work and other life issues. I was happy to join another little team called STAC82 this past year. I had nothing but respect for this group after they handed us our asses at XIA during a CQB competition. I am both happy and humbled that they would allow me to join them.
I have played in a number of out of state games in Texas. The first was in Austin at Rapid Decent. I have been hooked on large scale ops ever since. I try to make a Texas game every year now. I plan to make a Lion Claws event within the next year, and look forward to representing STAC82 there.
