STAC82 REQUIREMENTS

 

This is a recreational sport, and being a STAC82 Operator is a voluntary commitment. It is understood that home, work, responsibilities and other commitments are a part of all our lives and are to come before the team. If you are unable to meet the basic minimum requirements listed below, it is requested that you communicate and or participate in other ways to demonstrate your interest in being a STAC82 Operator. These requirements exist to create cohesiveness, an important element of any successful team.

 

Officers
Obligation to the team:
-Required to attend the monthly meetings.
-Missing 2 meetings in a calendar year, without prior notification (“unexcused”), status is changed to   Operator. Officers status may only be reacquired by being voted back in at next opening for an officer position.
-Missing 4 consecutive meetings/or 4 months of game/event participation warrants an inquiry from the CO or XO of his or her continued Officer status and may warrant being moved to Operator status. Officers status may only be reacquired by being voted back in at next opening for an officer position.
-Take active role in continued and future development of the team.
-Active communication with the team.
-Demonstrate and maintain the honor, integrity and sportsmanship that is required not only of any reasonable airsofter but also to the higher degree of STAC82 Officers and Operators.
-Be at least 18 years old and preferably 21.
-Own your own airsoft gun.
-Communication of attendance is a requirement, as soon as is reasonably possible. Email or post whether or not you can make an event or meeting, posting is preferred. Your ideas and input on other subjects are welcome and recommended.
-Include (on any forum, ours being an exception) the STAC82 name, somewhere in your posts. Either in your screen name, avatar or signature.
-Required to help with all STAC82 sanctioned events. If unable, must notify at least 2 weeks prior, unless emergency.
-Are official representatives of the team, can preliminarily plan things with other teams etc…
-May proxy vote via another Officer or the forums if unable to attend a meeting.

 

Operator
Obligation to the team:
-Communication is  requested, but not mandated… Your participation or lack of, directly affects the direction of the team.
-Demonstrate and maintain the honor, integrity and sportsmanship that is required not only of any reasonable airsofter but also to the higher degree of STAC82 Officers and Operators.
-Be at least 18 years old and preferably 21.
-Own your own airsoft gun.
-Communication of attendance is requested, as soon as is reasonably possible. Your ideas and input on other subjects are welcome and recommended.
-Include (on any forum, ours being an exception) the STAC82 name, somewhere in your posts. Either in your screen name, avatar or signature.
-May vote on team issues only if present at the meeting where the issue is voted on.
-May vote on any financial matter affecting the whole team, in any form or means able.

 

Special Status

 

Recruit
-Any person recruited into STAC82 will start as a Recruit.
-Demonstrate and maintain the honor, integrity and sportsmanship that is required not only of any reasonable airsofter but also to the higher degree of STAC82 Officers and Operators.
-Be at least 18 years old and preferably 21.
-Own your own airsoft gun.
-Communication of attendance is requested, as soon as is reasonably possible. Your ideas and input on other subjects are welcome and recommended.
-Include (on any forum, ours being an exception) the STAC82 name, somewhere in your posts. Either in your screen name, avatar or signature.
-Any Recruit may change their status to Operator by attending 2 consecutive meetings.
-Recruits may be removed from the team at anytime for any reason with notification.
-Recruits may not cast votes (unless it is a financial matter affecting the whole team) even if in attendance at a meeting.

 

Conlfilct Of Interest (COI)

 

Applicable Definition: A conflict of interest (COI) occurs when an individual or organization is involved in multiple interests, one of which could possibly corrupt the motivation for an act in the other.

The rules:
STAC82 will not knowingly recruit any person who is currently involved with, is a member of or who is employed by any other airsoft association, airsoft team or airsoft business that will, or may be perceived as having the potential to, cause a conflict of interest between STAC82 and said person’s above mentioned involvements. It is the responsibility of the potential recruit to inform STAC82 of any and all potential conflicts of interest that said person is, or may be, involved with or in, before a vote to recruit by STAC82 is held.

Any current member that does become involved in any situation that will, or may be perceived as having the potential to, cause a conflict of interest with STAC82 will be voted on at the next scheduled meeting to determine what corrective action should be taken. Such actions may include, but are not limited to the following: Termination from STAC82 air soft team. Any current member that does become involved in a situation that may cause a conflict of interest is required to notify STAC82 as soon as is reasonably possible.

STAC82 Annual Dues

STAC82 currently has annual dues in the amount of $20. For all current members, the dues must be paid to either the CO, XO or Treasurer by the last day of January each year.

All new recruits, from the time of this post forward, must have the $20 annual dues, prorated quarterly, paid to a STAC82 officer by the next meeting following their recruitment.

-Wichita Airsoft Council Spokesperson
-Instigate, direct and lead discussions and ideas that attempt to lead and direct the team in directions consistent with the teams foundations, motto and its participants.

 

EXECUTIVE OFFICER (XO)
Obligation to the team:

-Coordinate Team Meetings/Locations
-Attend and Co-Lead Team Meetings
-Calling Tree Participant
-Public Relations
-Recruiting
-Wichita Airsoft Council Spokesperson
-Instigate, direct and lead discussions and ideas that attempt to lead and direct the team in directions consistent with the teams foundations, motto and its participants.

 

LIEUTENANT’s (LT) (we will maintain 1 Lt per each multiple of 6 persons on the STAC82 roster)
Obligation to the team: (For all Lt’s)
-Attend Team Meetings
-Calling Tree Participant
-Official representatives of the team

Obligation to the team: (Only one for each Lt and subject to change)
-Keep Up To Date Roster of Meeting Attendance (and those eligible for OPERATOR Status)
-T-Shirt Orders
-Patch Orders

  

STAC82 Command Structure

 

 

 

 We do not operate in a “rank and file” system. The ranks within the team are a default command structure. Our ranks are not a mark of superiority among the team, but more of a sign of the voluntary level of commitment and responsibility to the team that Operator has.
